and Legal Guidance - Reimagined
For a set monthly fee, DLF provides a low-cost option to access a wealth of contract and policy templates and, as is often missing, actual real-time guidance. We hope to ultimately to be supported by a collaborative participating community, without ads and tracking, so that we can exchange legal information, guidance, policies and templates in an open forum.

About Andrea
I have had the privilege of participating in and observing the evolution of the technology legal space since the inception of the Internet in the late 90s, primarily as an in-house professional with Fortune 500, tech start-ups and representing individuals in their businesses.
The Digital Legal Forum reflects my desire to make digital legal information more accessible to non-specialists, to reduce contracting friction, and to offer a supporting platform for the in-house legal community.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Digital Legal Forum all about?

Thank you for your interest in the Digital Legal Forum. This site is designed to support the in-house legal community with accessible legal, financial, and digital information.
Drafted and created by lawyers, for lawyers. We also provide educational resources to business owners who need answers, fast, on fundamental issues affecting their ventures.
We believe the best ideas and approaches to the complex world of corporate legal come directly from the lawyers themselves.
What is the motivation for this venture?

The Digital Legal Forum will contribute to the modernisation of in-house legal by creating a secure, member-based, curated site where lawyers can obtain information quickly, share experiences and collaborate informally.
The network effects of collaboration are proven in many other industries which share similar pressures of decreased budgets, increased workload and increased complexity.
By creating a safe haven for sharing documents and collaboration, we can reduce our response times, improve our know-how and learn from each other.
The Digital Legal Landscape

The legal industry has experienced massive disruption in the past 25 years. We are using more collaborative tools like Google Docs, we're signing documents electronically, there are advanced AI-driven search tools for documents, and alternative law firm models have proliferated. All of this change has brought cost savings, greater efficiency, and faster response times.
We are doing our best to keep up with the times. However, we are still moving at a slower pace than other professions. Why? Because the fundamental model of fee for service with proprietary output is still the predominant model - even in-house. With all of its benefits and faults!
So, how does this work?

SO – how does it work? For a modest membership fee, the Digital Legal Forum will be an open-source forum for legal teams small and large. Feel free to ‘pull’ from the site and learn from others' experiences.
In exchange, please do share – ‘push’ your experience outward. But what about client confidentiality? This is an issue everywhere - it's up to us to make sure that we do not share proprietary information by filtering what is sensitive from what is learnable and scalable.
